Module 2: Lesson 1: Review
-
You can submit your CABG Data either in an electronic data file or by entering individual records directly
into CORC. If your CABG Data contains errors, you can either submit a corrected file or correct
individual records online in CORC.
-
'Test' submission is a tool that allows you to test your CABG Data before officially submitting
it to HCAI. HCAI encourages you to take advantage of this feature by repeatedly testing your
CABG Data well before the report period due date.
-
CORC processes your data and provides submission results usually within minutes from the time
of submission.
-
Each hospital is responsible for correcting their CABG data errors.
-
To log onto CORC, you need a user name, a password, and IE 7.0 (or higher) with 128-bit encryption.
-
Generally, your hospital's Primary Contact will be the contact for all CORC-related business:
problems, questions, account administration, etc.
-
HCAI highly recommends that users check with their Information Technology (IT) department before
loading any software on their PC.
